New stuff:
-I was just accepted to the orthodontic residency here at UNLV for next year! (which is actually huge huge news, and a lot more difficult that it may seem at first...it was looking pretty grim for quite awhile there, but things just fell into place)
-There are three of us orthodontic 'fellows' (which is like a pre-residency) that are really close. And two of us were accepted into next years program. So, while I'm happy to be in, I feel bad for my fellow 'fellow.' We're good friends, and I really hope we can get him in another program.
-I still don't know anyone out here (except the other fellows/residents), and I'm out of town so often that it's proved difficult to really meet anyone.
-It's amazing how much time you can waste when you have a lot of extra time.....
-Go Utes! While we haven't been perfect this season, it's been a lot of fun to watch. I was able to go to the Michigan game (thanks Jeff), the Oregon State game was epic, and I'll be going to at least 3-4 more games this year (thanks Jeff!).
